Fitness is the name of the game for June.

And, we are LEVELING UP!

Now is the time to double-down on our health so we are strong and healthy and ready for all of the upcoming transitions into post-quarantine life.

Fitness is the foundation of living a fierce life and the anchor of physical health, so that is our focus all month long! As always, our mission is to give you the tools to make healthy habits easier to do so that you are consistent and get the results you are after!

This time last year we were making plans for Memorial Day Weekend... get-togethers, bbqs, parties, food, drinks, music, lakes, and the BEST PART: hanging with our PEOPLE!!

Well, we know that this year is different, to say the least.  However, we can still celebrate, have fun, and include our friends and family in a multitude of ways! Let's get creative! 

And, since self-care and wellness are of UTMOST IMPORTANCE right now as we navigate this new (involuntary) journey, I thought we could use this time to make a little game out of taking care of ourselves.

It's been somewhere between 6-8 weeks for most of us since we've been homebound. We doing pretty much everything from our homes and so is everyone else in our families...what's a FIERCE lady to do?

Make your space work for YOU!

Even as we begin the transition back (albeit slowly) to activities, restaurants, etc, it is important to include the things into our spaces that allow us to feel supported, comfortable, relaxed, and productive.

And, this can be ANYTHING! There are no right or wrongs here. There's simply what works for you.

Flip #1: Positivity vs Possibility

Right now here's an underlying pressure to put on our "positive pants" .  While it is helpful to look at the bright side of life, it is 100% absolutely ok and necessary to feel all emotions, even the negative ones and recognize that feeling through this instead resisting it will help us move forward.

First up: FOOD!  That's definitely been a go-to for me and while the first few days (ok, the first week) felt like a free-for-all, I have pulled in the reins. Yeah, they can definitely feel like a thing of the past these days as we find ourselves in a place that is anything but routine.

I know, I know... the temptation to stay up late, sleep in, skip workouts, and eat just because we have access to food all day, is strong!  Leaning in to this temptation for the short term can feel good, even therapeutic but as 

So, where do we start? How do we create a routine, a schedule, anything that resembles some structure and/or normalcy?

We. Start. Small.

A routine is simply a set of good habits we develop as a daily practice. It is about creating a system that works for you in your current season of life. And, it is a practice, meaning there is plenty of room for trial and error.
