Yeah, they can definitely feel like a thing of the past these days as we find ourselves in a place that is anything but routine.
I know, I know... the temptation to stay up late, sleep in, skip workouts, and eat just because we have access to food all day, is strong! Leaning in to this temptation for the short term can feel good, even therapeutic but as
So, where do we start? How do we create a routine, a schedule, anything that resembles some structure and/or normalcy?
We. Start. Small.
A routine is simply a set of good habits we develop as a daily practice. It is about creating a system that works for you in your current season of life. And, it is a practice, meaning there is plenty of room for trial and error.
Let's begin.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day! Are you wearing green?
Speaking of "green"... today we're talking about natural ways to boost your immunity and reduce stress which both include green: eating greens like kale, broccoli, and cabbage, and getting outside in nature!
I'm sharing more ideas than that below but if you remember nothing else from this email, then remember green: eat it, drink it, and live in it!
Our immune system is our defense against infection and attacks germs to keep us healthy. If there was ever a time to buckle down on our immunity and do everything we can to boost it up, it is now.
So, let's get this defense going!
Did you know that your mindset is your secret weapon? Hellooooo March! It's heeeeerrrrrreeeeee!Even though the first official day of spring isn't until March 19th, you already might be feeling the urge to pull out those rubber gloves, roll up your sleeves, and give your home a good top to bottom scrubbing. And why not? Clearing out the clutter helps us prepare to enjoy the warm (and hopefully productive) months to come; and decluttering always feels good. Well, this new year, 2020, is a also the start of a new decade and a FANTASTIC opportunity to do things a little differently to get us closer to that zen state we are seeking. "What do we do differently?" you ask. Well, we're going to spring clean not only our homes but our bodies and minds and "then some" too! And, to make it easy, we're using the acronym C.L.E.A.N. for each category so you can immediately put these into fierce action baby! Here we go! Check it out below! Home

How did you feel when you turned 40?
If you haven't turned 40 yet, what do you think of when you hear 40?
Well, tomorrow is July 10th and it's my 40th birthday.
"It's my 40th birthday."
That statement used to make me cringe and today I'm happy to say that I LOVE that I'm turning 40! My life looks nothing like I planned and that is the most beautiful piece of this whole puzzle!

Now, I know that can sound super-duper cheesy but to me the last year and a half (and particularly the last 6 months) have truly been a love affair of consciously infusing self-love into my life.
Last year on my birthday, I was inspired to share 39 years of lessons, quotes, and thoughts that have impacted my life, or at least the ones I could remember in my 39 years, in hopes that you'd find some inspiration to celebrate the deliciousness in your life too!
I re-read that share and all 39 still ring true today. ...
the rain, the sunshine, the birds, the traffic, the trees, our breakfast, spilled coffee, warm coffee, for every smile, every stranger, every text, every conversation, every person, our lunch, our cars, our homes, our bodies, our work, our rest, our families, our efforts, our to-do lists, our choices, our breath, the things we didn't get done, our hearts, and ourselves...
According to Harvard Health Publishing, “In positive psychology research, gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness. Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships.”
Now, ask yourself that question again.
What if today we were just grateful for everything?
You could not only improve your happiness, but you could improve your health! What’s not to love? (haha, get it?)
