LFLF Retreats
Terms & Conditions

LIVE FULLY, LIVE FIERCELY RETREATS

TERMS & CONDITIONS

FIERCE by Choice, LLC
d/b/a Live Fully, Live FIERCELY Retreats (“LFLF Retreats”)

Effective Date: October 30, 2026

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before registering for a Live Fully, Live FIERCELY Retreat.

By registering for a retreat, making a payment toward a retreat, or completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Your registration constitutes a binding agreement between you (“Guest,” “Participant,” “you,” or “your”) and FIERCE by Choice, LLC, doing business as Live Fully, Live FIERCELY Retreats (“LFLF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

A separate Retreat Participation Agreement, Assumption of Risk, Waiver & Release of Liability may also apply to your participation in the retreat.

1. YOUR RETREAT BOOKING

Your retreat registration is not confirmed until the required deposit or initial payment has been received.

Your booking is subject to:

  • these Terms & Conditions;

  • the payment, cancellation, and refund policies stated here;

  • the dates, pricing, accommodation category, inclusions, and exclusions listed on the applicable retreat registration or sales page; and

  • any retreat-specific information communicated to you in writing.

If retreat-specific terms differ from these general Terms & Conditions, the retreat-specific terms communicated at the time of booking will control for that particular retreat.

2. DEPOSITS, PAYMENTS, AND PAYMENT PLANS

A deposit or initial payment is required to reserve your space.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of booking:

Deposits are non-refundable.

If you select a payment plan, you authorize LFLF Retreats and its payment processor to charge the payment method provided according to the payment schedule selected at checkout.

You are responsible for ensuring that all scheduled payments are completed.

If a scheduled payment fails, we may attempt to contact you and/or process the payment again. Failure to bring your account current may result in cancellation of your reservation.

If your reservation is cancelled for nonpayment, previously paid amounts remain subject to the cancellation terms contained in these Terms & Conditions.

All balances must be paid in full by the deadline established for the individual retreat.

3. WHY RETREAT PAYMENTS BECOME NON-REFUNDABLE

Retreats require LFLF to make substantial financial commitments well in advance of the retreat, including payments to:

  • hotels, villas, lodges, and retreat centers;

  • transportation providers;

  • excursion operators;

  • guides and facilitators;

  • caterers, chefs, and restaurants;

  • ferries and marine transportation providers;

  • wellness providers;

  • event vendors;

  • travel planners;

  • local operators; and

  • other third-party suppliers.

Many of these payments become non-refundable months before the retreat occurs.

Once LFLF has paid or committed funds that cannot reasonably be recovered, those amounts cannot be refunded to the Guest.

By registering, you acknowledge and agree that your cancellation does not eliminate LFLF’s financial obligations to its vendors and that LFLF is not required to personally absorb non-refundable costs incurred on your behalf.

4. GUEST CANCELLATIONS

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

Unless a retreat-specific policy states otherwise:

All deposits are non-refundable.

Payments made beyond the deposit may become partially or fully non-refundable as LFLF incurs non-refundable expenses associated with the retreat.

Any refund or retreat credit that may be offered will be limited to amounts that:

  1. have not already become non-refundable under the applicable cancellation policy; and

  2. have not already been paid or irrevocably committed by LFLF to venues, vendors, accommodations, transportation providers, excursions, or other retreat expenses.

LFLF will not refund money that it cannot recover from its vendors or service providers.

No refund or credit will be provided because a Guest:

  • changes their mind;

  • cannot obtain time off from work;

  • experiences a scheduling conflict;

  • becomes unable or unwilling to travel;

  • misses a flight, ferry, train, transfer, or connection;

  • arrives late;

  • departs early;

  • misses part of the retreat;

  • chooses not to participate in any portion of the retreat;

  • is denied boarding or entry because of documentation issues;

  • experiences personal or family circumstances that prevent travel; or

  • encounters another situation ordinarily covered by travel insurance.

For this reason, appropriate travel insurance is essential.

5. TRANSFERS AND RETREAT CREDITS

Retreat registrations are not automatically transferable to another person or another retreat.

At LFLF’s discretion, we may permit a Guest to transfer a reservation or apply eligible funds toward another LFLF Retreat.

Transfers may be subject to:

  • availability;

  • vendor restrictions;

  • accommodation availability;

  • administrative costs;

  • differences in retreat price;

  • non-refundable amounts already paid to vendors; and

  • deadlines established for the individual retreat.

Any transfer or credit must be approved by LFLF in writing.

A transfer or credit should never be assumed unless written approval has been provided.

6. TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is required for LFLF Retreat participants unless LFLF expressly waives this requirement in writing for a particular retreat.

Your policy should be appropriate for the destination and your personal circumstances and should generally include coverage for:

  • trip cancellation;

  • trip interruption;

  • travel delay;

  • missed connections;

  • flight cancellation;

  • ferry or transportation disruption;

  • baggage loss or delay;

  • emergency medical expenses;

  • emergency evacuation; and

  • repatriation.

We strongly encourage Guests to consider Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage when available.

CFAR coverage often must be purchased within a limited period after your first trip payment. It is your responsibility to investigate eligibility and deadlines.

LFLF does not sell travel insurance and cannot guarantee that a particular claim will be covered.

You are solely responsible for selecting, purchasing, and understanding your insurance policy.

LFLF may request proof of travel insurance prior to departure.

Your decision not to obtain adequate coverage does not create a financial obligation for LFLF to reimburse expenses that would otherwise have been insurable.

7. FLIGHTS AND AIR TRAVEL

Unless specifically listed as included, airfare is not included in your retreat price.

You are responsible for:

  • researching and purchasing your own flights;

  • selecting appropriate arrival and departure times;

  • allowing sufficient time for connections and transfers;

  • complying with airline requirements; and

  • paying any airline-related fees or expenses.

LFLF is not responsible for:

  • delayed flights;

  • cancelled flights;

  • missed flights;

  • missed connections;

  • airline schedule changes;

  • denied boarding;

  • lost or delayed luggage;

  • additional hotel nights;

  • replacement flights; or

  • any resulting inability to attend part or all of the retreat.

If an airline disruption causes you to arrive after the retreat begins or prevents you from attending, the retreat remains subject to the normal cancellation policy.

Any additional expenses are the responsibility of the Guest and/or the Guest’s travel insurance provider.

8. FERRIES, BOATS, AND MARINE TRANSPORTATION

Certain LFLF Retreats may require or include transportation by ferry, boat, water taxi, catamaran, or other marine transportation.

Marine transportation is particularly susceptible to:

  • weather;

  • high winds;

  • rough seas;

  • mechanical issues;

  • port closures;

  • Coast Guard or governmental restrictions;

  • staffing issues;

  • schedule changes;

  • capacity limitations; and

  • cancellations by the transportation provider.

LFLF does not control ferry or marine transportation operations.

If a ferry, boat, or other marine transportation service is delayed, altered, or cancelled, LFLF will make reasonable efforts to assist with available alternatives when possible.

However, LFLF cannot guarantee alternate transportation.

Any additional costs resulting from transportation disruption, including hotels, meals, taxis, rental cars, replacement tickets, alternate ports, flights, or additional nights, are the responsibility of the Guest unless LFLF specifically agrees otherwise in writing.

A ferry or marine transportation disruption does not automatically entitle a Guest to a retreat refund.

If LFLF has already paid non-refundable retreat costs, those amounts remain non-refundable even if weather or transportation problems prevent or delay your arrival.

Guests are strongly encouraged to build reasonable travel buffers into itineraries when ferry or marine transportation is required.

9. WEATHER AND NATURAL CONDITIONS

Retreat experiences frequently include outdoor activities and travel in locations affected by weather and natural conditions.

Weather may affect:

  • flights;

  • ferries;

  • road transportation;

  • excursions;

  • hiking;

  • boating;

  • beach activities;

  • outdoor meals;

  • movement sessions;

  • sightseeing; and

  • other scheduled experiences.

Weather conditions are outside LFLF’s control.

Activities may therefore be changed, moved, shortened, postponed, replaced, or cancelled when LFLF, a venue, guide, transportation provider, or other operator determines that doing so is appropriate.

A change in weather or resulting itinerary modification does not automatically entitle a Guest to a refund.

Where possible, LFLF will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternate experience, but an exact substitution cannot be guaranteed.

10. ITINERARY, ACTIVITY, AND FACILITATOR CHANGES

LFLF Retreat itineraries are intentionally planned but remain subject to change.

Activities, meals, excursions, facilitators, guides, transportation, locations, timing, and the order of events may change because of:

  • weather;

  • safety considerations;

  • availability;

  • local conditions;

  • illness or emergency;

  • transportation disruptions;

  • vendor changes;

  • group needs; or

  • circumstances outside our control.

LFLF reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary before or during a retreat.

A change to an itinerary, excursion, facilitator, activity, restaurant, transportation provider, or schedule does not constitute cancellation of the retreat and does not automatically qualify a Guest for a refund.

11. THIRD-PARTY VENDORS

LFLF works with independent third-party providers to create retreat experiences.

These may include hotels, villas, retreat centers, transportation companies, guides, excursion operators, restaurants, chefs, massage therapists, wellness practitioners, ferry operators, boat operators, and other suppliers.

These providers are independent businesses and are not employees of FIERCE by Choice, LLC.

LFLF selects providers in good faith but does not control their day-to-day operations.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LFLF is not responsible for the acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, errors, insolvency, or failures of independent third-party providers.

12. CANCELLATION, POSTPONEMENT, OR RELOCATION BY LFLF

LFLF reserves the right to cancel, postpone, shorten, relocate, or otherwise modify a retreat when reasonably necessary.

If LFLF cancels or materially changes a retreat because of circumstances beyond its reasonable control, refunds or credits will be limited to funds that LFLF is actually able to recover from applicable vendors and suppliers, to the extent permitted by law.

Any funds already paid or contractually committed to non-refundable third-party expenses may remain non-refundable.

If funds are recovered from vendors, LFLF may, depending on the circumstances, provide Guests with:

  • a refund of recoverable funds;

  • a retreat credit;

  • transfer to rescheduled dates; or

  • another reasonable option.

LFLF is not responsible for independently booked travel expenses, including:

  • airfare;

  • hotels;

  • transportation;

  • additional vacation arrangements;

  • passport or visa expenses;

  • airline change fees;

  • travel insurance premiums; or

  • other expenses incurred in connection with the retreat.

13. FORCE MAJEURE

LFLF will not be liable for failure, delay, interruption, cancellation, or modification of a retreat caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include, without limitation:

  • hurricanes;

  • tropical storms;

  • flooding;

  • wildfires;

  • earthquakes;

  • extreme weather;

  • natural disasters;

  • epidemics or pandemics;

  • public health emergencies;

  • war;

  • terrorism;

  • civil unrest;

  • strikes;

  • labor disputes;

  • government orders;

  • border closures;

  • travel bans;

  • quarantine requirements;

  • transportation shutdowns;

  • airport closures;

  • ferry or port closures;

  • utility failures;

  • major infrastructure failures;

  • venue destruction or closure;

  • supplier insolvency; or

  • similar events beyond LFLF’s reasonable control.

These circumstances are referred to as Force Majeure Events.

If a Force Majeure Event prevents, delays, or materially alters the retreat, LFLF will make reasonable efforts to recover funds from suppliers.

However:

LFLF is not required to refund amounts that its vendors or suppliers do not return to LFLF.

Any refund, credit, postponement, or rescheduling arrangement will therefore depend in part upon funds actually recovered from third parties.

This is another reason Guests are required to maintain appropriate travel insurance.

14. PASSPORTS, VISAS, ENTRY REQUIREMENTS, AND TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Guests are solely responsible for obtaining and carrying all documentation required for travel.

This may include:

  • passports;

  • visas;

  • travel authorizations;

  • vaccination documentation;

  • entry or exit forms;

  • proof of onward travel; and

  • any other documentation required by airlines or governmental authorities.

Passport validity requirements vary by country and may require validity extending several months beyond the return date.

LFLF may provide general information as a courtesy, but requirements can change.

It is your responsibility to verify current requirements with appropriate governmental authorities.

If you are unable to travel because of missing, expired, incomplete, or incorrect documentation, no refund will be provided.

15. ACCOMMODATIONS AND ROOMMATES

Room categories are subject to the descriptions and availability stated for the individual retreat.

If you request shared accommodations and do not identify your own roommate, LFLF may attempt to match you with another Guest.

Roommate compatibility cannot be guaranteed.

If a roommate cancels or a shared accommodation arrangement becomes unavailable, LFLF may offer available alternatives.

Depending on venue requirements and circumstances, an additional accommodation charge may apply.

16. UNUSED SERVICES

No refunds or credits will be provided for accommodations, meals, transportation, excursions, activities, treatments, or other services that a Guest chooses not to use or is unable to use because of late arrival, early departure, illness, travel disruption, or personal choice.

17. FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR TRAVEL DISRUPTIONS

You acknowledge that unexpected costs are an inherent possibility of travel.

Unless LFLF expressly agrees otherwise in writing, additional expenses arising from:

  • delayed or cancelled flights;

  • ferry disruptions;

  • missed connections;

  • severe weather;

  • additional lodging;

  • additional meals;

  • alternate transportation;

  • itinerary interruptions;

  • quarantine;

  • medical events; or

  • other travel disruptions

are the responsibility of the Guest.

Guests should seek reimbursement through their travel insurance provider when applicable.

18. PERSONAL PROPERTY

You are responsible for your own luggage, passport, electronics, jewelry, cash, medications, and other personal belongings.

LFLF is not responsible for lost, stolen, forgotten, or damaged personal property.

Travel insurance covering baggage and personal property is strongly recommended.

19. PRIVACY AND NECESSARY INFORMATION SHARING

LFLF may collect information reasonably necessary to plan and operate your retreat.

Information may be shared with relevant vendors when required to provide services, such as dietary information, transportation details, rooming information, or accessibility needs.

LFLF will make reasonable efforts to limit shared information to what is necessary for retreat operations.

20. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Any venue, jurisdiction, mediation, arbitration, or dispute-resolution requirements should be interpreted consistent with applicable Massachusetts and federal law.

21. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

22. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms & Conditions, together with the applicable retreat registration page and any retreat-specific written terms, constitute the agreement between LFLF and the Guest regarding the booking and financial terms of the retreat.

Changes or exceptions must be agreed to by LFLF in writing.

23. ELECTRONIC ACCEPTANCE

By checking the agreement box during registration, submitting payment, or otherwise completing your retreat registration, you acknowledge that:

  • you have had the opportunity to read these Terms & Conditions;

  • you understand the cancellation and refund policy;

  • you understand that LFLF makes non-refundable payments to third-party vendors;

  • you understand that LFLF cannot refund funds it cannot recover;

  • you understand the risks associated with flights, ferries, weather, and other travel disruptions;

  • you understand the travel insurance requirement;

  • you understand that itineraries may change; and

  • you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
