The Power of Pivoting

October 22-25, 2026

This Retreat
Was Written for You

A 4-day retreat for the woman who is ready to stop thinking her way into change — and start feeling her way forward.

You have built a good life. Done the right things. Shown up for everyone who needed you.

And somewhere in the middle of all of it — you lost the thread back to yourself.

You're not falling apart. You're not in crisis. You're just aware — quietly, persistently — that something needs to change. That the woman you're becoming requires you to show up differently than you have before.

A chapter is closing. You can feel it. And you're a little afraid of making the wrong move.

If something in you just stirred — this is for you.

You don't come here to get away from your life.
You come here to find your way back to yourself.

This is a return.

What We Do Together

Recalibrate + Remember

Long beach walks. Quiet mornings. Deep breaths.

You don’t come to escape your life.
You come to reclaim it.

Strength + Reflection

Lift. Move. Stretch. Journal. Release.

Strength in your body. Truth in your mind. Courage in your next chapter.

Sisterhood + Space

Porch hangs. Slow dinners. Soulful conversations.

The kind of connection that feels grounding — not draining.

What You’ll Come Home With

This retreat isn't just a break — it's a turning point.

You’ll leave…

  • Grounded in your body and connected to your inner truth
  • Clear on what you’re releasing and what you’re moving toward
  • Emboldened to pivot powerfully, even when the path feels uncertain
  • Supported by rituals and tools that calm your nervous system and reignite your joy
  • Re-inspired by your own strength, creativity, and capacity to shift with grace
  • Rooted in a deeper, steadier sense of you

The decisions you make after this retreat will come from truth, not fear—from power, not pressure.

Our Venue

The Vineyard Arts Project

Nestled in the heart of Edgartown on Martha’s Vineyard, the Vineyard Arts Project (VAP) is a serene and inspiring retreat space that merges coastal charm with creative elegance. This historic property—just a short walk from the ocean—was originally built as a nineteenth-century inn and now serves as a vibrant sanctuary for artists, dreamers, and seekers of renewal.

With its sun-drenched yoga studio, cozy communal spaces, and expansive porch overlooking quiet gardens, VAP offers the perfect setting to ground, reflect, and reconnect. Every room is thoughtfully appointed, and while simple in style, the energy is warm, welcoming, and soulfully aligned with our mission of mindful movement, restoration, and renewal.

Our Itinerary

OCT 22 - 25, 2026

DAY 1: Arrival & Intention
You arrive, exhale, and let the island do its first bit of work on you. Welcome refreshments, your retreat bag, and no agenda except to settle in. We'll gather for an opening circle and intention-setting session — naming what you're ready to release and what you're calling in. Then a grounding dinner and easy evening connection to ease into the house, the land, and each other.
Arrive between 3pm and 5pm.

DAY 2: The Power of Pivoting
We wake the body and steady the nervous system with barefoot grounding and movement. A group walk pulls us outside and into nature. Then the heart of the retreat — The Power of Pivoting workshop — where we name what's shifting and why that's not something to fear. A candle-and-closet release ritual helps you let go of what no longer fits.
We close with a restorative dinner and quiet reflection.

DAY 3: Power & Presence
The day you remember what you're made of. A full-body strength and vocal empowerment session builds confidence from the inside out. Then we go inward — guided meditation, journaling, and somatic work to hear what your body already knows. A creative integration activity anchors your insights into something tangible you'll take home.

We celebrate at dinner and close the circle honoring every pivot that brought you here.

DAY 4: Departure & Integration

A gentle morning stretch. Breakfast together. And the kind of closing circle that makes you not want to leave — naming what you're taking home and how you'll carry it forward.

You'll leave lighter, clearer, and more rooted in yourself than when you arrived.

Your pivots from here will come from truth, not fear.

From the Women Who’ve Been There

Real reflections from those who stepped away, reconnected, and came home changed.

Laura I.

"The Fierce tribe of women that Derith has nurtured and grown consists of women of all ages who are kind, caring, compassionate, genuine, vulnerable and supportive. Through laughter and tears and meaningful conversations, I have found a place where I finally feel like I fit in. For so many years while raising my kids I never felt like I quite fit in - at Fierce I have found my people and I am forever grateful to Derith and all the women of Fierce for all they have given me."

Alissa S.

“I didn’t know what to expect for my first retreat, but it far exceeded any expectations. I grew, pushed myself outside my comfort zone, and made friends along the way. There was so much self-reflection and self-care — things I hadn’t made time for in years. I came back a changed person with a new tribe that supports me no matter what. Women supporting women can make a huge difference in the world.”

Elise

"I think the most meaningful part of the retreat was sharing it with women of like mind.  Eating together, discussing together, hiking, doing movement together, journaling together. This is an experience that you should give yourself at least once in your life and more if you can!  It is so good for your mental health and for your soul and we as women need to nurture these parts of ourselves so that we can be our best selves. Thank you again for the experience!"

MEET YOUR GUIDES

COACH D.

I’m Derith — most people know me as Coach D. I’m a women’s wellness coach, retreat guide, and founder of FIERCE by Choice, a movement devoted to helping women fiercely love the skin they’re in through strength, self-care, and soul connection.

At its heart, FIERCE is about choosing yourself, every single day — having the courage to step into your truth, your power, and your next season with intention.

For over 25 years, I’ve been guiding women to create lives rooted in purpose, confidence, and vitality. I’ve led thousands of fitness classes, coached habit and lifestyle shifts, hosted transformative retreats, and built a community where women feel seen, supported, and strong — inside and out. What lights me up most is helping women remember their power, physically, emotionally, and energetically. Whether it’s through a barbell, a breakthrough conversation, or a quiet sunrise by the water, I believe we all have the capacity to shift, heal, and grow.

My coaching blends movement, mindset, and meaning — with equal parts humor, truth-telling, and heart. You won’t find quick fixes here, just real conversations, aligned actions, and a deep commitment to living fully and fiercely.

This Martha’s Vineyard retreat is your invitation to press pause with intention, ground in nature, and pivot from clarity instead of pressure. I can’t wait to walk alongside you.

CLAUDIA MORIEL

Meet Claudia Moriel, founder of The Lite Guide and your guide for meditation, energy healing, and “inner pivot” work on this retreat.

Claudia’s path began with her own healing journey through Hashimoto’s and years of brain fog, fatigue, and frustration with conventional approaches. That challenge led her to explore biohacking, nervous system regulation, meditation, plant medicine, and light/frequency-based tools—and ultimately to a way of living where science and spirituality work together to support real, lasting change.

Her philosophy is simple: when you get clear on what you truly desire and gently support your body and energy system, healing doesn’t have to be a battle. It becomes an alignment.

At the Martha’s Vineyard retreat, Claudia will guide you through chakra-balancing meditations, nervous system reset practices, energy work, and “Power of Pivoting” conversations that help you release old patterns, reclaim your clarity, and access a calmer, more resourced version of you.

She has a grounded, loving presence and a gift for making deep work feel accessible, safe, and even a little magical.
