I joined F.E.R.C.E led by Coach D. in February of 2015. I have never looked back and I have loved every single challenge. Coach D. puts her heart and soul into every challenge and is always coming up with new ways to grow our “Whole Fitness” in order to bring about best possible results. This is not a “QUICK FIX WITH EMPTY PROMISIES TYPE PROGRAM.”
Since starting FIERCE I have begun to look at exercise, my diet and just everyday life in a completely different way. I have made friends with ladies around the United States that I have never met yet look forward to hearing from them daily. Aside from a healthy new way of thinking and living, I have lost 30 lbs, blood work continues to improve and I feel and look younger now then I did in my 30’s. Coach D. Thank you for your commitment to the Health of the Whole Woman. I look forward to many more Challenges in the future.

I began living Fierce in January, 2015, and began the first challenge with doubt that I would succeed and doubt that I could stick with it. What I discovered, however, was that I could indeed succeed. I dropped 40 pounds the first year and dropped from sizes. I began as a person who wanted to be a wallflower and not wanting people to see me-hiding behind big, black clothes afraid that I would be seen as a failure as a person and as an employee . Now, I am confident in my self, my job, my body. I take on life challenges with excitement and embracing fear instead of giving in.
Coach D taught me how to workout integrating cardio, resistance and active rest in the time I had available to fit my schedule. She taught me what clean eating is and how to eat mindfully and successfully.
The beautiful thing is that I gained self confidence, self discovery and this beautiful sisterhood with my fierce friends. We understand each other's struggles and successes even though our situations and experiences may be different.
Being fierce is contagious. My fierce family is growing and our own families are becoming healthier and more confident.
I am truly blessed to be a part of this sisterhood and to have found such a beautiful, helpful coach like Coach Derith. I feel that she created this Fierce tribe/ sisterhood and helped all of us become the best possible people we can be. We are not only learning about how to make our bodies strong and healthy, but learning how to make our minds strong and confident.
Thank you, Coach D! I truly love you and love what you have done in my life.

F.I.E.R.C.E. is above all else a sisterhood. It is a mindset and a way of life. When I first joined Derith, I was skeptical about how much success I would have, since, as many of you can also relate, I had tried and failed to lose weight after making it my “New Year’s Resolution” countless times.
As soon as I had been in the group a few days, I realized it wasn’t just about the accountability of the group, although that is a huge part of the process…it was about honest individual feedback that spoke to me on a deeper level. Why? As you all have heard, or haven’t heard if you haven’t known Derith or Coach D for long, your “WHY” must be firmly cemented and at the forefront of your consciousness on a daily basis…knowing WHY you are working out, eating clean and changing your unhealthy habits is vital to the success of your FIERCE journey and it is Derith’s uncanny ability to sniff out your B.S. and clichéd answers, forcing you to delve into your psyche and truly acknowledge the truly important reasons for even embarking on this new lifestyle.
The lessons that you learn from Derith transcend weight loss and trite lessons on “clean” eating. You learn to love and respect yourself, as you are now, not the “after” individual that you hope to see in the mirror someday in the future. Learning to truly love who you are in the “before” is where your true strength lies. I have gone from an insecure, low energy, angry and unfit woman to a strong, confident, energetic and happy woman that just happens to be about 30 lbs lighter than 19 months ago.
I know in my heart that the change has been thanks to this F.I.E.R.C.E. group and Derith. I am forever grateful for this group and to Derith for taking the leap of faith to start this amazing and wonderful concept that now has a life of its own and is more beautiful than I think even Derith could have ever dreamed it would be. So, if you have any doubts about joining this group, please feel free to believe in me, believe in Derith and most importantly, believe in yourself and you will achieve more than you could ever imagine.
